    Thieves Market Outdoor Vintage and Handmade Flea Market 1st Saturdays, October through May in Downtown Cave Creek. Discover deals and near-steals at Cave Creek’s Thieves Market, an outdoor flea market that takes place in downtown Cave Creek on the first Saturday of each month. The popular event takes place on the NE corner of School House Rd. and Cave Creek Rd. from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on the first Saturdays of each month (October - May) with one-of-a-kind flea market sellers and town retailers coming together to offer the kind of "perfectly uncivilized” fun that is unique to Cave Creek. “Savvy shoppers, compulsive collectors and weekend warriors can expect to find unique, old and handcrafted items that simply can’t be found in a traditional shopping venue,” said organizer Mickey Meulenbeek. “Thieves Market offers everything want and nothing you need,” she said.     The Fifth Annual Cave Creek Balloon Festival at Rancho Mañana will be bigger and better than ever, and packed with more family fun for everyone January 4, 2014! Sanderson Lincoln & Ford, Tonto Bar & Grill, Aerial Solutions, and Valerie’s Fine Furniture are again teaming up for this fantastic event in Cave Creek. Gates open at 3 p.m. Enjoy live music by local bands such as the Kards, as well as food, beverages, cocktails and wine. Locally brewed Four Peaks beer will be available for purchase. Turn the kids loose at the larger-than-ever kids’ zone and great activities. Rancho Mañana Golf Club driving range will once again become a magical field of glowing splendor at 6 p.m. when brightly colored and whimsically shaped balloons – including the new “Bud E. Beaver” balloon – come to life. At about 8:30 p.m., the excitement continues as the flying Arizona Skyhawks descend from 7,500 feet with special suits outfitted with pyrotechnics.
