Case No. AGP-17-02 Proposed 2018 General Plan
General Information

The Town of Cave Creek, as required by Arizona Revised Statute, is beginning the process of developing the proposed 2018 General Plan which will be sent to Cave Creek voters on the August 2018 ballot.

The base document is the proposed 2016 General Plan, which can be accessed via the Town's website at http://www.cavecreek.org/DocumentCenter/View/2639

The first opportunity for public input will be February 16, 2017, 7:00pm, at the Cave Creek Council Chambers.  The public is invited to offer comments on the 2016 General Plan that was approved by the Town Council but not ratified by the voters.  Comments will be recorded and forwarded to the Planning Commission as part of the enhanced notification process as required by State of Arizona law.  Additional public input sessions are currently scheduled for the months of September, October and November 2017. 

 The first Cave Creek Planning Commission public hearing for the proposed 2018 General Plan is scheduled for January 18, 2018.  An additional Planning Commission public hearing will be held February 15, 2018, if necessary.  The Planning Commission’s recommendation for the 2018 General Plan will be forwarded to the Town Council for the March 5, 2018 Agenda.

The public will be notified of changes, if any, to the schedule.
