Z-20-05 Rezoning Request - PWPII-FPI (ParkWest)

Case Z-20-05 PWP II – FPI I LLC (ParkWest) – Rezone Request  AND Case SPR-20-03 PWP II – FPI I LLC (ParkWest) – Site Plan            Review

 REQUEST 1: To recommend approval of Case No. Z-20-05 a rezoning request to change the underlying zoning of three parcels totaling approximately 3.82 acres totaling approximately 2 acres from a current zoning of Desert Rural Residential (DR-89) to a Commercial Buffer (CB) Zone.  A Site Plan Review application was concurrently applied for.

 REQUEST 2: To recommend approval of a Site Plan Review (Case No. SPR-20-03) to allow for the development of commercial buildings totaling an area of 31,140 sq. ft. The request for Site Plan approval will be considered following the determination of the Rezoning Request.

 Notice is hereby given that the Town of Cave Creek Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. via a video conferencing platform to consider Case No. Z-20-05 – Rezone Request.   

The request for a recommendation of approval for the Site Plan (Case SPR-20-03) will be considered following the determination of the     Rezoning Request.

The Council gave first reading to Ordinance No O2021-01 on March 15th. Second reading is scheduled for April 5th. 

Council approved Case SPR-20-03 Site Plan Review by a vote of 7 to 0 subject to conditions of approval.

At the April 5, 2021 Town Council meeting, the Council voted 7 - 0 to give Second Reading to Ordinance O2021-01.

The Ordinance amending the Zoning Map for the subject parcels becomes effective May 6, 23021.
